About the Journal

The Journal of Pakistan Prosthodontics Association (JPPA) is an official journal of the Pakistan Prosthodontics Association. Prosthodontics in Pakistan progressed with major contributions of Major Gen. Dr Atta –ur Rehman, Professor B A Yazdanie, Major Gen. Dr. Noor Hussain, Professor Tariq Zaman Ahmad, and Professor Waheed Sheikh. Subsequently in the 1990s, a few others including Prof Dr. Nazia Yazdanie, Prof Dr. Fazal Ghani, Dr. Mohsin Ali, Prof Dr. Asif Ali Shah, Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad, and Dr. Azfar Siddiqui also joined this group.

Later on, In 2001 Prof Dr. Azad Ali Azad and Prof Dr. Sajid Naeem passed their FCPS-II examinations in Prosthodontics and became the first Fellow of Prosthodontics in Pakistan, followed by many others.

Pakistan Prosthodontics Association aims to provide an international platform for Prosthodontics of Pakistan to share their knowledge and learn new skills through scientific meetings and publications.

JPPA will re-start its biannual publication in 2021.

The editorial board of JPPA consists of well-reputed national and international researchers who actively contribute to the journal by promoting it at different forums both nationally and internationally.
